Aesop, we all know it and we all love it. The Melbourne founded brand for body cleanser, skincare and shampoos with its promised usage of finest herbs and the best ingredients. Aesop is nowadays one of the most hyped purchases in high quality body, face and hair products all around the world. You mostly see their soaps in nice hotels or in bathrooms at public events.

I’m using their shower gels since quite a while now. For many people its a total unnecessary luxury purchase, because you see tons of “cheap” shower gels in almost every grocery or drugstore for under EUR10, so why spend much money on it. But today I have been at a one of those stores and couldn’t even find a shower gel I like from their smell, that’s what showing me again, why I bought the body cleanser.

I totally understand these thoughts not spending much money on that kind of things, because I’m very carefully myself if it comes to money, but for the Aesop body cleanser it’s worth to spend a little more then usual.

The cleansers I’m using are:

Geranium Leaf body cleanser with geranium leafs, mandarin rind and bergamot rind

A Rose By Any Other Name body cleanser with rose petal, cardamom and black pepper.

Firstly these two cleansers smell amazingly good, but thats a plus that goes for all Aesop products in general. The brand mostly uses herbal and fruity tones for the aroma of their products, thats why it smells so fresh and natural. With the steam of the hot bath or shower the scent unfolds much better and you get the feeling of a spa day.

Both body cleansers can be used for all skin types, so no matter if you have dry or oily skin, these two will work well for you. When I’m using them I always pump once from each bottle and mix it. I’m not really sure why I’m doing it, but I started once by accident and loved the combination of those two together.

I’m definitely going to use more Aesop products in future and will let you guys know what I think of them.
