Spring officially steps in our lives again. Blooming meadows and trees give us a wonderful harmonic picture and a scent of sweet freshness. Everything seems more friendly these days.
When it gets warmer and all blossoms perfume the air with a mixture off different intensities, it’s time to retrieve one of my favorite perfumes from the drawer. BYREDO OUD IMMORTEL
Byredo are well known for theire valuable scents and amazingly puristic packaging. For all perfume experts who already know Oud Immortel it’s maybe questionable why I’m using this scent in Spring/Summer. Oud Immortel is a very strong and wooden scent mostly used in the colder season by most people.
I bought it in April two years ago and wanted to wear it right away, even if I thought for myself that it might be to heavy for this season. However, walking around with it I realized how wonderful the composition of Oud Immortal and the smell of spring flowers turned out. Thats how I fell in love with it and declared it to be my ultimate spring/summer perfume.
The Eau de Parfum is very long lasting by a small amount of usage. Patchouli is significantly protruding in this scent, especially on my skin. Perfumes are unfolding differently by skin types so the scent of this perfume can turn out in may ways.
I’m a huge fan of incense scents but in my case you don’t really notice it, but what you notice, next to the patchouli, is a light sweet element. I can not really tell you where the sweetness is coming from, but it’s giving the scent a special touch. Oud Immortal is a real statement perfume, which separates opinions, but most reactions where positiv so far.
Byredos Oud Immortel is available in most niche perfumeries or on the internet in 50ml (98EURO) and 100ml (150EURO). It might sounds expensive but one squeeze is enough per day, means the bottle will last a while.
