Gray but still beautiful in it’s finest. Grado – Quaint view at the ocean from a picture perfect concrete jetty which looks like painted. I was standing there for more than 15 mins just staring at the water – and of course taking a dozen of pictures.
Grado is a small town in Italy with less than 10.000 people. However, since it’s right at the ocean it’s for people of my hometown what Mallorca is for whole Germany – that´s also the reason I never was there before.
Now, after 23 years i finally decided to give it a try and surprise – the city is just beautiful! The whole architecture of the buildings as well as the vista via the ocean is really breathtaking.
Don’t get me wrong – it’s nothing too fancy or colourful, but for the people that know my preferences of minimalistic things it should be obvious to see what I mean on the pictures I took there. I think they present a special kind of melancholy and tristesse, but in a way that is just wonderful – in my eyes.
