The first post of the year is dedicated to a new woven coat I purchased a few days ago. It’s also dedicated to one of my favorite places near my hometown.

Grado, an italian city two hours drive by car. I thought this outfit combined with that amazing location will be the perfect start in 2017. This year I want to be more focused in great shootings and outfits to show you guys. Putting more effort in the organization and spending more time to get the perfect picture. Editorials will replace street style shootings. I also want to show you guys how to wear great looks without spending tons of money. It’s easy to get affordable clothing which looks very chic and fancy.

At the moment I love that way of dressing most – Retro Chic. This coat by Zara fits perfect to that kind of style. It appears old-button at first because of its black and white granular pattern. Some think of their grandparents seeing that kind of coat or style. I can totally understand their thoughts but it always depends on the combination. You have to be the type to wear that kind of cloths without looking ridiculous or disguised. I’m not always the type for that too, for example lozenge, it doesn’t look good on me at all. On the other hand I don’t even like it, so it doesn’t really matter.

However, back to the outfit. A fine knitted turtleneck in a greyish camel color rounds of the outfit. I found the pullover at Weekday a year ago. As trousers I wear pants by H&M. The look is totally simple but an eye-catcher anyways.

Italy was the perfect choice to shoot this outfit. The beaches and landscapes are always giving the perfect mood for those kind of pictures. 12 degrees in winter appeared so warm with the sun touching your skin. That’s what I call nice weather for a shooting day.
