The Fashion Week season 2016 enden with the shows in Paris in october. Now we all can concentrate on the christmas preperations and all the festive days coming up.
Back in Berlin I already miss Paris, but this happens every time I’m coming back from a two week getaway with amazing experiences. This time for the Spring/Summer 2017 shows in Paris I stayed eleven days, nine of them were full of events, meeting people and watching shows. Fashion Week, which is definitely not just seven ordinary days in the calendar was a total success for me. I haven’t been at much shows this season to be honest but the events were kicking off everything. But first things first.
I started my trip in a very relaxing way, arriving two days before the shows started,I spent most of my time, as usual for my trips to Paris, in my friends pastry Sebastien Guadard at 1 Place de Pyramide, which is my favorite place to be. Next to all his highly delicious pastries you can have a very nice lunch there with e.g. a very nice crab salad or the best croque de monsieur in Paris.
The other thing I like to do while in Paris is just strolling around for hours, babysitting the dog makes this the perfect leisure-activity because as you know, dogs need to walk a lot – so thats how we explored a few new places in the first two days.
One day I spend in the spa of the RITZ hotel which was so relaxing and a perfect preparation before the shows. The pool area was so amazing and my highlight was the music underwater. YES, if you’re diving you hear a melody and that was such an amazing experience because I never had this before. After spending a few hours at the pool i went to the sauna and afterwards i received a 90 minutes massage.
This year I was glad to meet so many new and nice people. I met for example Farina for a dessert in the pastry and we spend the day together meeting Caro for Lunch and a stroll. These two girls are really lovable. It was funny because this was the first season that many german bloggers came to Paris, which was quite unusual for me because the other times i haven’t seen even one. But i was quite happy to meet them and spend some time together.
On another evening I have been to a ballet at La Opera, which was splittet in 4 parts. From classical to modern to innovative, there was something for everybody in it.
So long story short, these are my experiences from my stay in Paris for the Fashion Week besides all the shows and events around fashion. Happy to be back next year to the most gorgeous fashion circus.
